The 54th ASFAA Board Meeting successfully convened in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, China on October 9th, focusing on promoting Sport for All in Asia. President Pun Weng Kun and board members from various countries and regions including China, Japan, Israel, South Korea, Malaysia, Hong Kong China, and Chinese Taipei discussed the ASFAA operational report and upcoming initiatives for 2025, such as Asian Taijiquan Day, the Asian Jump Rope Promotion Program, and Asian Walking Day. The meeting also featured a presentation on the Chinese Physical Fitness Surveillance by the Deputy Director of the China Institute of Sport Science, emphasizing future collaboration to advance sport for all in Asia.
Board members further engaged in the 2nd China-ASEAN International Conference on Physical Fitness and Health Promotion in Xi'an, fostering exchanges with sports officials and experts from around the world. They participated in various activities, including the Xi'an Physical Education University's 70th Anniversary High-Quality Development Conference, the Sports Science China Tour - Walk the talk, Scientific Fitness in the Park, National Ball in the Park and Champions Enter Schools, enriching their insights on sport for all in China.
