Dads and kids swim & run in Singapore Biathlon

More than 2,200 participants competed in the 12th edition of the Singapore Biathlon at East Coast Park.The race consists of a 1.5-kilometre swim and 10-kilometre run.
And this year, there was a new category to get fathers and their children to bond through sports.
Specially catered to NSmen and their children, this new non-competitive category saw fathers taking on a short 200-metre swim, followed by a 800-metre run together with their children.
Singapore Biathlon 2012 is jointly organised by SAFRA and the Republic of Singapore Navy.
Dylan McNiece won the Men's Open category in a time of 55 minutes and 12 seconds.
Clara Wong Wan Qi, won the Women's Open category in a time of 1 hour, 10 minutes and 22 seconds.
