The 56th Meeting of the ASFAA Board Meeting Successfully Held in Macao 2027 ASFAA Congress Confirmed to Take Place in Macao

The 56th meeting of the Asian Sports For All Association (ASFAA) Board was successfully convened on September 5 in Macao, China. During the meeting, key agenda items including the annual report and financial budget were reviewed and approved, further advancing the development of sports-for-all initiatives across Asia. The meeting unanimously confirmed that the 18th ASFAA Congress will be held in Macao, China, from February 26 to March 1, 2027. In addition to the Congress, the Board Meeting, the General Assembly, and the election of the President and Board Members for the 2027–2031 term will also take place concurrently. Member representatives engaged in in-depth discussions on future work plans and shared experiences and annual achievements in promoting Sport for All in their respective regions, exchanging practical insights and outcomes. During the meeting, Board members visited the "Active Community –Sport for all Recreation and Sports Carnival 2026" held at Tap Seac Square, where they interacted with local residents and experienced firsthand the lively atmosphere of community-based Sport for All in Macao. The innovative model of integrating sports, cultural elements, and health concepts left a deep impression on the visitors. The hosting of this meeting in Macao not only strengthened sports cooperation and ties between Macao and other Asian member regions but also allowed Sport for All experts from across the continent to witness Macao's latest development, injecting new vitality and opportunities into Asia's sports and cultural exchanges.
