This year, an elite group of athletes will act as National Sport Day Ambassadors, displaying the advantages of sports and inspiring local community to be a part of the great event. Among those athletes, Olympic shooters, Bahia Al Mansour, Aya Magdi and Qatar former football star, Mansour Muftah.
In a press release after being selected as the NSD ambassador, shooter Aya Magdi said “The National Sport Day represents a golden chance and new step to break the routine life through sport by meeting all friends and family members in a festive sport scene”.
NSD ambassador, Mansour Muftah said “Sports have changed my life and enabled me to learn the best human values, I belief that the NSD will inspire the nation (men, women, youth and kids) to gain physical fitness and create the new generation of starts for Qatar sport movement”.
