The Secretariat itself started the work 16 years ago since ASFAA was founded in 1991 in Seoul, Korea. After the first President, Dr. Ju-Ho CHANG, Mr. Yoshio Tsubouchi was elected as the second President of ASFAA. Secretariat also moved to Tokyo, Japan [Sasakawa Sports Foundation] , and made the groundwork. On the basis of solid foundation work of ASFAA Secretariat Japan, ASFAA Secretariat Busan [Sport for All Busan Association] took over the work. ASFAA Secretariat Busan is operated under the command of ASFAA the third President, Dr. Shang-Hi RHEE.

While ASFAA Secretariat carries out the decision of ASFAA Meetings', Secretariat has to communicate with Members including the Vice-Presidents [Hon. Sarjit SINGH], Secretary General [Hon. Brian DIXON], Treasurer [Dr. Min-Soo KIM]. Also it is essential to work with Sport for All Department of All-China Sports Federation which the Secretariat located in. Sport for All Department of All-China Sports Federation has a close cooperation system with General Administration of Sport of China in the financial and human resources sections.

To promote the Sport For All in Asiania Region, ASFAA Secretariat
1) Make planing & organizing annual Meeting, ASFAA General Assembly and ASFAA Board Meeting.
2) Coordinate the ASFAA Congress every two years.
3) Cooperate the International Challenge Day & World Walking Day in Asiania Region with TAFISA .
4) Promote the Traditional Game, Culture event, and Sports.
5) Exchange and provide Sport for All Information.
6) Carry out the decision of Meeting.
7) Organizing the Network between countries specialized in Sport For All Association.
