The 25th ASFAA General Assembly

The 25th ASFAA General Assembly was successfully held on 16 April 2023, at Studio City Hotel in Macao, China.
The new term (2023-2027) of the ASFAA Board of Directors was elected during the General Assembly. Mr. Pun Weng Kun, President of the Sports Bureau of the Macao SAR Government was unanimously re-elected as President of ASFAA.
The newly elected ASFAA Board of Directors were also appointed as:
- Vice President: Ding Dong (China), Yasuo Yamaguchi (Japan)
- Secretary General: Hagay Herzel (Israel),
- Directors: Ali Majdara (Iran), Kim Minsoo (Korea), Sarjit Singh (Malaysia), Tina Yen-Ting Liu (Chinese Taipei) and Wong Po Kee (Hong Kong, China).
The General Assembly was officially convened with participation from members from China, Hong Kong China, Indonesia, Iran, Israel, Japan, Macao, China, Philippines, and Chinese Taipei participated. All items on the agenda were approved by the attending members.
Following to the 25th General Assembly, the 51st ASFAA Board of Directors Meeting was also held. Future plans have been discussed for the development and promotion of sport for all in the region.
