Cooperation and Development Forum Closed Successfully

On Nov. 21st-23rd, 2011, Asiania Sport for All Cooperation and Development Forum & China-ASEAN Sport for All Cooperation and Development Forum were held in Nanning, capital city of Guangxi Province. Over 200 representatives from China (including Hong Kong, Chinese Taipei, and Macau), Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Thailand, Republic of the Philippines, and Vietnam as well as officials from consulates in Nanning attended the Forums. Mr. Feng Jianzhong, ASFAA President, was present at the opening ceremony and made a speech. Mr. Liu Guoyong, ASFAA Treasurer, attended the Forums and made a speech.
The Forums have built a platform for the exchanges and cooperation on sports for all in the Asia-Pacific region and in particular, in China and ASEAN countries. More than 30 representatives have made their speeches on the Forums. With in-depth discussions on status and features of sports for all in Asia-Pacific region as well as outlook and progress of international exchanges and cooperation, we will arouse people’s attentions to sports for all in related countries and regions, promote scientific development of sports for all, improve people’s health, expand exchanges and cooperation on sports, and enhance friendship.
The Forums have provided new perspectives, new ideas and new ways of thinking to participants and then they will surely promote exchanges and cooperation on sports for all in Asia-Pacific region, in particular, China and ASEAN countries and bring benefits to local people. The Declaration of Nanning has been made on the Forums, which is to promote exchanges and cooperation on sports for all in China and ASEAN countries.
